The association

Eurêka + is an association law 1901 created in 1985, whose objective is to popularize the sciences’ and the techniques’ knowledge and permit everybody to realize scientific projects, each of the organizers being voluntary. The space section counts about fifteen members who are between 12 and 23 years old. It takes place all along the school year, on Fridays from 20h30 to 22h30. The association permits youngsters to construct aerospace projects (mini-rockets, experimental rockets, stratospheric balloons) which complexity increases with the experience gained through the years.

In this manner, the members start by micro-rockets in cardboard and balsa, and then progressively pass to mini-rockets and finally to experimental rockets carrying experiences which can be (pointues).

The association participates at numerous events such as the science fair, the campaign of regional launchings, and the Festival des Clubs Espaces (festival of space clubs)…

Our association is affiliated to Planète Sciences (planet sciences) who is in charge of making the amateurs clubs’ follow up. Since forty years Planète Sciences function is to develop the spatial activities for the youngsters in France.
In this manner, since 1969 launching campaigns for rockets are organized. Planète Sciences being those campaigns’ organizer and the CNES (national center of spatial studies) being present for putting to work the propellers (for evident reasons of security)
